Today we need to find our teams for all things Videography!
Each team MUST have at least 2 students willing to be TALENT for TMH...the rest will fall into place!
There will be 4 teams of 5!
If you moved, we need to redo Housekeeping!
FIRST...let's log on to our computers
Click the BOTTOM LEFT..."Other User"
Enter your FRESNO UNIFIED email (ends with @fresnou.org)
and Password...Remember your password should contain ONE CAPITAL LETTER
(hint: it is on your class schedule at the top...keep this paper safe!)

Make a new folder on your desktop...

Right click on your desktop
Select NEW>FOLDER
A new folder will appear
Name the folder...

If the name is not highlighted, right click the folder and select Rename
Name the folder: VIDEOGRAPHY
Open the Videography folder by double clicking on it!

Whenever we begin a new project, we will duplicate a Template of folders INSIDE our Videography folder!

Insert Thumbdrive into USB port!
Insert the thumbdrive to your computer...

ONLY insert into USB ports on FRONT of computer!
(The back of the computer there should already be items plugged in)
With the Videography folder open, on the left side now look
for USB Drive
Right click USB drive and select
OPEN IN NEW WINDOW
Left click on the
Video Project Template_COPY ME folder and drag the folder into your Videography folder
This will make a copy in your Videography folder!
Now that the copy is made, we need to remove the USB drive properly!
On either folder, on the left...
RIGHT CLICK on USB drive and select EJECT
Please hand the thumb drive to the next person!
Inside this folder...
ASSETS: This refers to media files (Videos, Audio, images)
Inside ASSETS is a FOOTAGE folder. This is where all footage for the project will be placed!
Also inside are Audio and Stills (Photos) folders!
EXPORTS: "Exports" refer to the process of rendering and saving the final edited video or other project output.
PROJECTS: Just in case there are multiple parts to the project!
This will be your TEMPLATE to COPY with EVERY project!

When starting a new project...
RIGHT click on the
Video Project Template_COPY ME folder Select COPY
You can also just select the folder, (don't open it) and on your keyboard press Ctrl + C (Copy)
Now RIGHT click in ther white area inside the Videography folder and selectPASTE
You can also just click in the white area and on your keyboard press Ctrl + C (Paste)
A COPY was made of the folder (should have the word _Copy at the end!)
Now we just need to RENAME this folder!
Did you know when a file or folder 's name is highlighted BLUE you can simply start typing to rename it! (hint: don't press delete!)
Right click the copied folder and selct RENAME
Name the folder BASIC SHOTS
We will be using this folder later!

At the Bottom center of your screen, Click in the search bar
Click SETTINGS
In the New window
On the Left, choose APPS
Then select DEFAULT APPS
Scroll down
Find and click on GOOGLE CHROME
SET DEFAULT
Click SET DEFAULT to make Chrome your default browser!
Close window (Click on X on top right corner)
