Play with the camera controls found in the 'Creative Zone' of an EOS Digital SLR. Here, you can really dictate the outcome of your photos and get the effects you want. Your shots will appear below where you can review, get feedback and compare the settings you used

STOP MOTION:

Set ISO to 100 (Base ISO)
Choose a FAST Shutter Speed (all the way to the right!)
Adjust your Aperture/F-Stop...left for a SHALLOW DEPTH OF FIELD
Re-adjust the ISO so the EXPOSURE METER line reads to the CENTER (0)
SNAP YOUR PIC!

Try other settings to:

Have everything in FOCUS (wide DOF)
Have the propellor show movement but still have the room in focus
